Slugs- I first knew about this in the 1960s, that’s when my maternal grandmother explained how she dealt with slugs in her award-winning yard. She bought a can of beer and had an empty plastic margarine container that she dug a hole for in each garden bed around her house and property line. She placed the container so that its top edge rested level with the dirt that she dug the hole in. She put beer in there to the edge of the container. The slugs smelled the beer, wanted some, and they fell in and drowned. Now back to the video. I’m watching on my lunchtime at work.

Great job Chris! Looks great and will be super cosy. Not sure how you feel about using nematodes for your slug problem but that's my go to and really effective. If you are interested drop me an email and I'll send you more information and the supplier I use. Keep on keeping on xx
